Public transport

Arriving by car
- From the A3 motorway, take the Zurich-Brunau exit and follow signs for Sihlcity
- A large, modern car park is available directly at Sihlcity (entrance on Giesshübelstrasse)

Do I need a referral for my appointment?
No. You can generally book an appointment at Derma Medical Clinic in Zurich without a medical referral. Depending on your insurance or the reason for your visit, a referral may be helpful or required. We will be happy to advise you in advance.
What documents should I bring?
Please bring your health insurance card and any existing reports on previous findings or examination results. If you take medication regularly, an up-to-date medication list is recommended. This information helps us assess your condition comprehensively and plan the treatment that is right for you.
Are treatment costs covered by health insurance?
Whether a treatment is covered by basic or supplementary insurance depends on the individual medical issue and your insurance model. We will be happy to explain in advance which services are likely to be covered and which costs you may need to pay yourself. Purely aesthetic treatments, for example, are generally private services.
How long are the waiting times?
We are an appointment-based clinic and carefully organise consultation and treatment times. We aim to keep waiting times as short as possible. However, medical emergencies or more complex treatments can occasionally cause short-notice delays. We appreciate your understanding if this happens.
May I bring someone with me?
Of course. You are welcome to attend your appointment with a companion. Many patients find this reassuring and helpful, especially during detailed consultations.
