Regenerative skin therapy with biostimulating injections

Polynucleotides are biologically derived DNA building blocks that stimulate the skin to renew itself from within. They improve texture, elasticity, and moisture retention at a cellular level. The result is a gradual, visibly improved skin quality. No immediate change in shape or volume—instead, natural, subtle skin rejuvenation.

Gentle regeneration for your skin

A skin assessment is recommended if elasticity decreases, the skin appears thin or atrophic, fine lines—including crepey wrinkles—become visible, or the skin looks tired and lacking vitality. Especially in the lower eyelid area, a thin skin structure can indicate changes that may require treatment at an early stage.

Targeted analysis for healthy, firm skin

As part of the examination, we carefully analyse skin thickness, elasticity, and moisture levels to get an accurate picture of your skin’s condition. We also assess wrinkle patterns and tissue quality and evaluate skin type and regenerative capacity. At the same time, we clarify possible risks so the treatment can be carried out safely and tailored to you. Our specialists then determine whether treatment with polynucleotides is suitable for your skin and can achieve the desired result. If necessary, we recommend alternative measures to optimally support and strengthen your skin in the long term.

Treatment with polynucleotides

What are polynucleotides?

Polynucleotides are long-chain DNA fragments of biological origin that are used medically in purified form. They are injected directly into the skin, where they stimulate regenerative processes in the tissue—specifically: fibroblast activity, the formation of collagen and elastin, and moisture retention in the tissue. Unlike hyaluronic acid, they do not add volume; they improve the skin’s structure from the ground up.

Therapeutic approaches

Polynucleotides are introduced into the skin using thin cannulas. The treatment is carried out over several sessions, spaced a few weeks apart. The goal is a gradual improvement in skin quality from within.

Who is the treatment suitable for?

Polynucleotides are not an anti-ageing solution for everyone. They are an effective method for patients who want natural skin rejuvenation and a strengthened skin structure. For example:

  • if the skin has become thinner or less elastic.
  • for early skin laxity.
  • for sun-damaged or mature skin.
  • for sensitive lower eyelid skin.
  • for skin that doesn’t calm down after heavy strain.
  • if you don’t want a volumising effect, but rather a natural improvement in skin quality.

What Happens During the Examination?

Before treatment, a specialist skin analysis is carried out. The aim is to assess skin quality realistically and check whether polynucleotides are the method of choice.

  • Assessment of skin structure, tissue elasticity, and wrinkle depth
  • Clarification of expectations and possible alternatives
  • Definition of the individual treatment plan

What happens during the treatment?

The polynucleotides are injected directly into the skin with fine needles. The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis.

  • Cleansing and preparing the skin
  • Injection into the previously defined areas
  • Mild swelling or redness immediately afterwards is possible, but usually subsides quickly
  • For optimal results, several sessions at defined intervals are planned

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions about Facial Contouring Treatment

How do polynucleotides work in the skin?

They stimulate fibroblasts, promote the formation of collagen and elastin, and improve moisture retention in the tissue. The skin structure stabilises gradually, and fine lines can soften.

Which skin areas are they suitable for?

They are commonly used on the face, neck, and décolletage and are particularly well suited for thin or sensitive skin—for example, in the lower eyelid area—as well as for sun-damaged skin or skin in need of regeneration.

What is the difference compared to hyaluronic acid?

Hyaluronic acid is used to add volume and bind moisture. Polynucleotides work differently: they biologically stimulate the tissue and improve skin quality from within. No immediate effect, but a more sustainable structural change.

Is the effect immediately visible?

The contouring is visible immediately after the injection. Slight swelling may occur in the first few days after treatment, but these are temporary. You will see the final result after about one to two weeks. Touch-ups, for example, to prolong the effect, are possible at any time as desired.

How many sessions are necessary?

Usually several sessions spaced a few weeks apart. The exact number depends on skin condition and treatment goal and is defined in the initial consultation.

When Are Initial Results Visible?

Polynucleotides work regeneratively, not immediately. The first improvements in skin quality usually appear after a few weeks and depend on skin type and individual response.
