For healthy and smooth lips
Are you bothered by dry, rough lips or first lines and wrinkles? Over the years, the skin around the upper lip becomes thinner. Pleat-like lines and smoker’s lines develop. With polynucleotides, we can improve skin quality and support tissue regeneration. The effect: the tissue becomes smoother and more supple. Several sessions are usually required.

Polynucleotides to regenerate lip skin
Injected in small quantities, polynucleotides support the renewal of lip skin. The skin of the lips becomes more supple, retains more moisture and shows an improved skin texture and a more intense, more clearly defined lip colour. Combinations with hyaluronic acid or PRP are possible depending on your skin.

Improving crepey lines and wrinkles around the mouth
Many patients suffer from uneven, rough lips or crepey lines and wrinkles along the lip contour. With polynucleotides, we take a holistic and lasting approach that can structurally and visibly improve the skin around the mouth. The effect of the polynucleotides develops gradually.

Why Polynucleotides for the Lips and Mouth Area with Us?
Expert assessment of lips and mouth area
Dry lips, fine lines, an uneven contour or thin lips are common concerns among our patients. Each problem has its own treatment approaches. Polynucleotides are particularly suitable for improving skin quality.
Experienced Doctors
The mouth and lips are in constant motion. Aesthetic treatments in this area are demanding. Our doctors specialise in such applications and take lip shape, tissue and facial expressions into account when planning treatment.
Modern Treatment Methods
Polynucleotides are biostimulators for regenerative treatments. They are suitable for sensitive skin, for example around the lips or eyes. For lip enlargement or tightening, we have complementary procedures such as hyaluronic acid available.
Individual Consultation
Many of our patients would like a better-cared-for lip surface overall. Others want to get rid of their lines around the mouth. We tailor each treatment individually to your personal concern.

Procedure
Initial consultation & diagnosis
We discuss which changes to your lips or mouth area bother you and what your desired result looks like. We then examine the lip surface and the skin around the mouth.
Individual treatment planning
We determine the number of sessions. This also includes schedules for any complementary treatments.
Treatment & support
Polynucleotides are introduced into the skin with fine cannulas. Slight swelling or redness may appear around the injection sites, which usually subsides quickly.
Follow-up & adjustment
Skin regeneration takes several weeks. After this time, you will see first results. We usually assess the result after a treatment series and plan later touch-ups on request and if required.

Specialist experience with polynucleotides for the lips and mouth area
The area around the mouth is shaped by natural skin ageing, individual facial expressions and continuous lip movements. This can result in dry, less elastic lips or superficial lines in the surrounding skin. At Derma Medical Clinic, we therefore treat the lips and mouth area as related treatment zones. We use polynucleotides where the quality and condition of the skin should be improved.
Dr. med. univ. Martina Tröbinger is a specialist in dermatology and venereology FMH and laser medicine FMCH. She is highly experienced in aesthetic dermatology and specialises in modern treatment approaches and regenerative injection treatments.

What you can expect from us
Long-term support
The skin improves over several weeks. The result lasts for several months, up to 2 years depending on skin texture. Touch-ups are possible at any time.
Medicine and skin therapy under one roof
Dermatological changes on the lips and around the mouth, such as sensitive skin, inflammation or other abnormalities, are of course taken into account and medically assessed.
State-of-the-art therapies on site
There are several effective procedures for rejuvenating the lips and mouth area. Sometimes the focus is on skin quality, other times on lip lines or the wish to adjust the shape, e.g. changing the volume. We will be happy to advise you on this.
More than just skin
The shape, movement and condition of the lips influence the appearance of the mouth area and thus of the entire facial expression. We always advise and treat holistically.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions About Polynucleotides for the Lips and Mouth Area
What do polynucleotides do on the lips?
We use polynucleotides to improve lip skin. After a short treatment series (e.g. three sessions), we can achieve improvements in roughness, dryness and lip lines, among other things. The result mainly affects the condition and quality of the lip surface.
Are polynucleotides also suitable for dry lips?
The treatment supports hydration, i.e. the ability of the lip skin to retain moisture over the longer term. As a result, the lip surface becomes more supple.
Can lip lines be treated?
With polynucleotides, we can influence the quality and condition of the skin. Pronounced wrinkles such as smoker’s lines may require a different or additional procedure.
Will polynucleotides make my lips fuller?
The lip treatment often achieves improved hydration, texture and elasticity – but no noticeably fuller lips or changes in lip shape. To build up lip volume, other injection procedures are suitable, such as special hyaluronic fillers.
How many treatments are advisable?
At Derma Medical Clinic, we recommend the application as a treatment series. The number of sessions varies from patient to patient. For first improvements, we often need three sessions three weeks apart. Touch-ups are possible as required and on request.
When is a result visible?
First improvements can appear during the treatment series and continue to develop in the following weeks.
Can polynucleotides also be used for lines above the lip?
For fine, superficial lines, the focus is on strengthening the skin structure. This is possible with biostimulators such as polynucleotides. If the wrinkles are more pronounced, we can additionally treat with fillers or other aesthetic approaches.
What side effects can occur?
After the injection, swelling, redness, small bruises or tenderness may occur. These reactions are temporary and usually mild.
Can polynucleotides be combined with lip injections?
This is possible and depends on your skin and the desired result. The timing of the individual sessions is planned individually.
