Polynucleotides for wrinkles and thin skin under the eyes
The skin around our eyes is thin. It loses hydration and firmness comparatively quickly and becomes crepey and slack. With polynucleotides, we can strengthen hydration, elasticity and skin texture in the long term. As a result, the eyes look less tired. The treatment only takes a few minutes. There is no downtime.

Polynucleotides improve skin quality
Polynucleotides are introduced superficially into the skin. There, they support skin renewal and improve skin quality. Fine, dry or crepey skin appears smoother and firmer over time. The eye area also often looks less tired, and shadows are less pronounced.

Effectively treating dark circles and crepey lines
Dark shadows under the eyes are often the result of thin skin, stronger pigmentation, visible blood vessels or a pronounced tear trough. With polynucleotides, we improve skin texture and reduce shadows under the eyes. The tissue becomes firmer and the skin surface more even. For eye bags or hyperpigmentation, combinations with other procedures are suitable.

Why Polynucleotides for the Eye Area with Us?
Expert assessment of skin quality
We distinguish between fine lines, sunken skin, pigmentation, visible blood vessels and eye bags, and recommend the most effective treatment or combination.
Experienced Doctors
The eye region is anatomically demanding. At our clinic, you are treated exclusively by experienced specialists who are well versed in both dermatology and aesthetics.
Modern Treatment Methods
Polynucleotides are among the regenerative injection treatments for the delicate eye region. We also have other procedures available for treating expression lines, deep wrinkles or changes in skin texture.
Individual Consultation
Before the treatment, we discuss what bothers you, what result you would like and whether this can realistically be achieved with polynucleotides. If another method is more suitable, we include this in our recommendation.

Procedure
Initial consultation & diagnosis
We analyse your eye area at rest and in motion. We examine skin quality, fine lines and wrinkles, dark circles and volume changes as well as possible causes.
Individual treatment planning
We then determine the number of sessions and treatment intervals. If required, we plan suitable combinations, for example with filler or laser.
Treatment & support
Polynucleotides are introduced into the skin with fine needles and in small quantities. The treatment is particularly suitable for sensitive skin and has few side effects.
Follow-up & adjustment
Skin quality improves in the period following the treatment. After completion of the first treatment series, we assess your skin together. If necessary, we then plan further sessions or a later touch-up.

Specialist experience with polynucleotides for the eye area
Crepey lines are the result of thin, slack skin. Shadows under the eyes are caused by visible blood vessels, pigmentation, volume loss or a pronounced tear trough. It is important to know the cause, as this is the only way we can treat effectively. We use polynucleotides when the aim is to strengthen the skin structure, preferably on the face, neck and eye region.
The treatment with polynucleotides is carried out at our clinic by Dr. med. univ. Martina Tröbinger, specialist in dermatology and venereology FMH and laser medicine FMCH. She has extensive experience in aesthetic dermatology and in treating sensitive areas of the face.

What you can expect from us
Long-term support
For skin quality to improve noticeably, a few weeks of patience are needed. Over the course of treatment, we assess how the skin texture has changed and whether a touch-up is advisable.
Medicine and skin therapy under one roof
Every aesthetic treatment begins with a dermatological examination. This allows us to take conspicuous changes or skin diseases into account in the planning and treat them promptly.
State-of-the-art therapies on site
At Derma Medical Clinic, we support you with modern treatments for the delicate eye area. Depending on your skin, these include polynucleotides as well as botulinum toxin, PRP, laser and combinations.
More than just skin
Facial expressions, fat distribution, hydration and the shape of the eye region all shape the appearance of the eye area. We therefore always take a holistic view of your concern.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions About Polynucleotides for the Eye Area
What are polynucleotides?
Polynucleotides are biostimulators with which we can visibly and noticeably improve skin quality. Similar to botulinum toxin or filler, they are injected under the skin. The skin-strengthening effect does not occur immediately after the treatment; it develops over a period of several weeks to months.
Several sessions are required. The effects include improved elasticity and firmness, a reduction of inflammation such as acne, a finer skin texture and increased skin density. Treatment with polynucleotides is also possible on sensitive skin.
What do polynucleotides do in the eye area?
At Derma Medical Clinic in Zurich, we treat with polynucleotides to improve the quality of thin skin and to strengthen the tissue in the long term. After several sessions, the results are improved skin elasticity and hydration, smoothing of fine lines and a more awake, less tired-looking eye area. The effect is not visible immediately after the application; it first has to develop.
What can be improved in the eye area with polynucleotides?
We use polynucleotides for crepey lines, dry, thin and stressed skin, dehydrated and uneven skin and declining elasticity. The main goal: improving skin quality as a whole. We recommend other procedures or combinations for pronounced eye bags, deep tear troughs or heavily pigmented dark circles, for example.
Can dark circles be treated with polynucleotides?
If the skin is very thin and the underlying tissue shows through more strongly, improved skin quality can make the area look more even. As a result, the eye area often looks less tired and shadows are less pronounced.
What is the difference between polynucleotides and hyaluronic fillers?
Hyaluronic fillers contain moisture-binding and plumping hyaluronic acid. With fillers, we build up volume, for example in the cheek area, or treat pronounced wrinkles such as nasolabial folds.
Polynucleotides are special protein compounds (biostimulators). They are also injected and improve the overall appearance of the skin a few weeks after the treatment. Both procedures can be combined.
How many treatments are necessary for the eye area?
Usually several sessions at intervals of around two to three weeks. At Derma Medical Clinic, we create an individual treatment plan tailored to your skin.
When will I see the result?
Not immediately after the treatment. Visible improvements in skin texture and elasticity develop over the course of the treatment series and in the following weeks.
Are there any side effects?
After the treatment, swelling, redness, small bruises, tenderness or visible injection sites may occur for a few hours, rarely for a few days. Serious adverse events are rare when the treatment is performed properly. Polynucleotides are generally well tolerated, as their structure is very similar to the body’s own proteins.
